This is a Waste Management Service Agreement between you, the client, and Howlands Trash Service and represents the agreement between the parties involved.
As per this waste management service agreement, Howlands Trash Service agrees to collect and dispose of approved waste products and confirms that they will be responsible for tools, equipment, labor and manpower to achieve this. The client agrees to pay for the waste management service provided by Howlands Trash Service and any incurred fees. Roadside service is guaranteed by placing your trash can at the road the night before your pickup date. By doing this, we avoid any missed pickups. Unscheduled pickups will incur a fee.
All waste must be bagged. This includes plastics and cardboard. Loose waste will not be accepted. We only pick up the contents of the provided trash can. Contents outside of the trash can may be subject to an overage fee. If one can is not enough to accommodate your waste needs a second trash can may be provided at a discounted rate.
Certain types of waste should not be disposed of as part of our residential household waste collection service. These include the following:
-Hazardous waste (products labeled toxic, poison, corrosive, flammable, etc.)
-Paint
-Oil
-Vehicle Batteries
-Tires
-Electronic waste (TV’s, microwaves, computers, etc.)
-Biohazard/Infectious waste
-Dirt, sod, and rocks
-Scrap metal
Payment Information: Invoices are sent via email one month after the last payment was paid.Payments 7 days after the due date will incur a $15 late fee. Nonpayment after 30 days will result in your service being suspended.
The provided cans are property of Howlands Trash Service and should not be defaced or damaged in any way. Furthermore, if you ever decide to end your service with us, we will collect the cans or dumpsters.
The Waste Management Service Agreement can be terminated if the parties involved violated the terms, conditions, and agreement in this document.
